Project OVerview
Building and continuously evolving a component-based atomic design system to improve efficiency and consistency within the design team at skatedeluxe.
Between 2020 and 2024, the atomic design system was a central part of my work at skatedeluxe GmbH. Building on the existing design, the system structured all UI components into atoms, molecules, and organisms. The goal was to create a scalable and consistent foundation for web design while reducing repetitive work.
Collaboration & Ongoing Development
Beyond the initial setup, continuous collaboration was key. I regularly introduced the team to Adobe XD, Figma, and the atomic design system, supporting them through tutorials as well as hands-on guidance in day-to-day work.
The library was continuously expanded and maintained in close collaboration with another UI designer. This ensured the system stayed up to date, practical, and aligned with the team’s evolving needs.
